Mac app developers are now able to create bundles of up to 10 apps, allowing customers to purchase multiple Mac apps at once at a discounted price.
Bundles like these have long been available through the iOS app store for purchasing multiple games or apps at one time, but until today, Mac App Store developers were not able to create similar bundles.
Apple is also now allowing app developers to set up bundles that include free apps with auto-renewable subscriptions, letting users purchase an app bundle and access multiple apps at one subscription price.
For free apps with subscriptions, each app in the bundle must have an approved auto-renewable subscription. If a user subscribes in one app, they must be able to access all other apps in the bundle at no additional cost. To go along with the automatic update of system software on Mac OS X, there are also options available in El Capitan’s App Store preferences to have your Mac set at automatically installing any available updates for different apps from the Mac App Store.
The feature we’re talking about does exactly what most of you tend to overlook, it automatically downloads app updates from the Mac App Store and applies them. Forgetting to update an app simply means that you miss out on all the newly added features, bug fixes and other important security enhancements.
I see that people don’t bother much about the routine system maintenance. But unfortunately, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution for this issue. You might either need to enable automatic updates or completely disable it. Find how to here!

How to Enable or Disable Auto Apps Update on Mac OS X El Capitan or Yosemite
The new alternatives in the App Store preferences permit your Mac to automatically download and install app updates, just as it can for any other important security updates. Have a go at enabling (or disabling) it by following these steps.

Step #1. Pull down the Apple menu and navigate to System Preferences.
Step #2. Click on App store.
In the App Store preference panel, tick the check boxes to “automatically check for updates,” “download newly available updates in the background” and “install app updates.”
Step #3. Along with those check boxes, also enable the one behind “install system data files and security updates.”
Step #4. That’s all to it. You can instantly check for updates by clicking on Show Updates button.

Obviously, automatic update isn’t something everyone will like. For instance, if you’re in a restricted bandwidth environment or are purposefully clutching an older version of an app, you can uncheck the boxes next to the respective automatic update.
